The MECH Z85X AWWA Grooved Resilient NRS Gate Valve is designed for grooved-coupling pipework systems, allowing fast, bolt-free installation on AWWA-spec fire protection and water service lines. Built around a ductile iron body with an EPDM rubber-encapsulated wedge (potable-water rated and clearly marked), a smooth machined spindle and the 5 O-ring sealing stack with outer wiper ring, the Z85X delivers reliable drop-tight closure cycle after cycle.
