The MECH XZ81X BS Grooved Resilient OS&Y Gate Valve brings together a British Standard pressure rating, grooved-coupling ends for fast installation, and an Outside Screw & Yoke design that puts the valve’s position out in plain sight. That combination is exactly what specifiers want on commercial fire protection risers and critical isolation duties.
The valve is built on a ductile iron body finished with a quality-certified EPOXY coating for corrosion prevention. The EPDM-encapsulated wedge is potable-water rated and manufacturer-marked, the spindle is strong and well-machined, and the 5 O-ring sealing stack with outer wiper ring keeps the stem chamber clean and leak-free.
