The MECH Z01X AWWA Flanged x Mechanical Joint Resilient OS&Y Gate Valve is a transition valve combining a flanged end with a mechanical-joint (MJ) end on a single ductile iron body. That makes it the go-to isolation device for hydrant tie-ins, MJ-to-flange transitions, and connections between buried ductile iron mains and above-ground flanged equipment skids on AWWA-spec projects.
The Z01X is built on a ductile iron body with a quality-certified EPOXY coating, an EPDM-encapsulated resilient wedge (potable-water rated and manufacturer-marked), a smooth machined rising OS&Y spindle, and the MECH 5 O-ring sealing arrangement including an outer wiper ring. Hot-melt corrosion-protected bolting protects every joint in buried service.
