The MECH Fig. XZ41X AWWA Flanged Resilient OS&Y Gate Valve is dimensioned to American Water Works Association specifications, perfect for projects that call out AWWA-flanged isolation valves on potable water mains and fire protection systems. The Outside Screw & Yoke configuration delivers clear open/closed position indication on the rising spindle.
The valve features a ductile iron body and bonnet, an EPDM-encapsulated resilient wedge (potable-water rated and manufacturer-marked), a strong machined smooth spindle and MECH’s signature 5 O-ring sealing stack with outer wiper ring. A quality-certified EPOXY coating and hot-melt corrosion-protected bolting protect every surface in buried or humid plant environments.
