The MECH Fig. XZ41X BS Flanged Resilient OS&Y Gate Valve is built to British Standard dimensions with an Outside Screw & Yoke (OS&Y) configuration, giving operators an immediate visual indication of valve position — open or closed — at a glance. That makes it a preferred isolation device on fire protection risers, sprinkler systems and critical industrial lines.
The valve combines a ductile iron body, an EPDM rubber-encapsulated wedge (potable-water rated and clearly marked), hot-melt corrosion-protected bolting and a 5 O-ring sealing arrangement with outer wiper ring. The full EPOXY coating protects every surface against humidity, condensation and chemical attack, while the machined rising spindle delivers smooth, low-torque operation.
