The MECH ZB5XC AWWA Flanged x Socket Resilient NRS Gate Valve is a transition valve, featuring one flanged end and one socket end on a single body. That allows a single device to join a flanged pump skid, hydrant tee or chamber pipework directly to a ductile iron socket main without an additional adapter spool.
The ZB5XC is built around a ductile iron body with a quality-certified EPOXY coating, an EPDM-encapsulated resilient wedge (potable-water rated and manufacturer-marked), a smooth machined non-rising spindle and a 5 O-ring sealing arrangement with outer wiper ring. Hot-melt corrosion-protected bolting completes the long-life corrosion package.
